If that's indeed true then it shows the ineptitude of the NZRL once again. Not knowing Nightengale was eligble yet people on these very forums discussing whether he warrants a Kiwis jersey makes you think they really have no idea. Shouldn't they have every NRL players eligibility on hand.... Baffling.

Kiddys under a big cloud at Souths for below-average performances and his low range PCA. Stripped of the co-captaincy, it has been reported that a number of his team mates think he should be wallowing on the bench for the bears.

Having said that, myself and a lot of Rabbitohs fans are hoping that he will really lift for Kiwi's.

If another thrashing takes place, then its time the game got serious about relaxing the rules, inviting the kiwi's into S00 and putting in the resources to make the kiwi's the powerhouse they deserve to be.

only one warrior was named in the 17 man squad, that is the strangest thing ever.

Hohaia could potentially be the second as 19th Man.

Lucky, I heard Covell was going to get picked and that nightengale hadnt been mentioned. Covell was going to get picked bcoz he can kick, yet they didnt even realise nightengale and luke kick goals.

F.F.S - Williams needs to be sacked as our aussie based selector - All he needs to is watch every game on the weekend, read the RLW and he'll be in the know. Then spark up some relationships with the players who are looking good.

Nightengale came out right from the start and said he is a kiwi. From what I remember both parents and are his siblings and NZ born. He was the only aussie born but lived briefly in NZ as a youngster then returning.

Hell thats a lot more kiwi than some of our other selections.

These comments pretty much do it for me......and sorry, seen too many discrepancies by sports reporters and journalists to "take it as fact".

I back you on that one. All nearly all league reporters in all media are sh*te. Particularly the papers they are extremely sh*te.

Stanaway is crap but at least one's coverage of league is getting better.
