Origin again barely got a mention

they spent more time on netball and defending Essendope

I watched it yesterday, and we must have been watching different shows. Thought origin got a good run, considering the Socceroos took a fairly large chunk of the show

the point is, it's an afl show masquerading as a sports show.

This.

Reminds me a lot of that sports quiz show on Ch9 "Between the Lines" that was hosted by Eddie McGuire a few years ago. It had a lot of potential, but the ratings outside of Melbourne immediately dropped off and the show scrapped as soon as those outside of Victoriania came to the realisation that it was simply an AFL show masquerading as a sports show.

The ABC and its blatant disregard of league on Australia Network is a travesty … I suggest that everybody boycott paying taxes in protest.

Origin had to take second billing to the Socceroos. Instead, the GC Suns beating Geelong did (WTF) which then legged into the AFL rubbish and on it went. Stanley needs to lift his game and interject with NRL references during discussions on other codes.

he has no morals treating bubbling as a greater sin than alleged rape

not surprising from someone who follows AFL and it's disgraceful culture

Whateley looked uncomfortable for the majority of that show without a fellow Victorian to dominate the conversation, he still managed to get in a snide remark about how only rugby league's shit stinks, oblivious to the fact that for every Carney in league there is a favola or cousins in AFL.

To be fair, Daw's case goes back to 2007, when he was 16/17 before he was drafted. Can't blame AFL culture really

he was playing the game and it wasn't Rugby League that made Carney piss in his mouth although the limpy host was trying to say it was

Holmes was pointing out that tools like Whately were more outraged over bubbling than alleged rape

he proved her correct by completely avoiding any discussion on it

They probably should have done their due diligence before making him their poster boy for how diverse and multicultural they are, it was embarrassing how they fawned over him as some sort of exotic attraction. For a code that prides itself on being indigenous, it sure is insecure about its international relevance.
