I'm really enjoying what semi is bringing to the team.

That try where he beat four defenders and kick and pass to Hayne were magic. In years gone by, we wouldn't of scored that. Sio would of tripped over his own feet and vai would of dropped the ball. He is developing well, will be amongst the games best wingers come at years end.

The other pleasing aspect was peats. Such crisp service from DH and can defend.

Yes, Peats and Semi have been fantastic.

If Semi keeps it up he will become a cult favourite in the NRL.

Semi has learnt heaps. not sure who is teaching him.

He has started to fend.

And watch a replay when he was making a break. He keeps his arms by his side, the defender wraps around his torso. He then lifts his arms and the tackler breaks off as there is a force against his arms.

If semi didn't do that, there would be no force and he would've been tackled.

I like him already

Maybe, but he didn't make any mistakes yesterday when it counted, unlike when he was playing for us.

It's less of an issue for front rowers. They just need to get in front of the runner and then wrestle after contact. Props are some of the worst tacklers in the game. It generally doesn't matter though because there is less ball movement in the middle, and there is less space between defenders.

True - but it would seem we are grooming Pauli as a potential back-rower. He has all the talent, but goes missing.
