To be fair, Lockyers last moment playing. Winning FG with a broken cheekbone will be replayed for the next 50years and most people wont even remember whoever wins this GF unless some miracle play or classic finish happens like 1999.

So its actually not a bad way for him to go out when he looks back on it

Idiot...NSW people actually have a ton of respect for Lockyer. Anyway this was Manly/Brisbane not Origin.

FYI, In regards to Origin it will just make NSW winning so much sweeter. We have nothing to loose, you have allot. After we claim two series in a row you will probably cry Origin is dead and that it's a NSW/Sydney media conspiracy.

On the contrary, the OP proves that not all of you do, and any NSW victory after this year won't count for shit. You never beat Queensland with Lockyer as their Captain during the streak. Now that he's retired, you never will.

That fact has to hang over the Blues Jersey from this point on.
