Lot of pretty insane paranoia on here. Like people who really believe this whole thing is some sort of shady government conspiracy. What, are you seriously all in Year 9? The Labor Party can barely effectively rig a pre-selection and the public service is run by public servants. If you can imagine the people who run your local council or Australia Post pulling off this sort of deft and complex political chicanery your a bit credulous.

i would not be getting carried away.There are other NRL clubs in the firing line,the Sharks just happen to be the first.

The NRL will not be taking over the club,they have appointed an interim CEO, financially assisted the club,until the club is stabilised.The club has a licence to play at Shark Park,and only complete financial oblivion would force relocation.The $300m development,has provided a decent underpinning,plus the huge reduction in the club's debt.
The fat lady hasn't sung yet.
