Too many players are still picked on reputation. I can't find a spot for Ben Creagh or Luke Lewis right now. Adam Reynolds is easily the best halfback in NSW at the moment and must be picked. The rest of the backline kind of picks itself. Only real bolter in this side is Shaun Fensom and I think for too long now the Blues have overlooked his type of player. Put him out there and tell him to tackle everything that moves. He is underrated with ball in hand too and will happily do the tough stuff. He looks every inch a breakout Origin player. Just a guy that will thrive on that sort of competition. Watmough can come on late in first half to give Gallen a rest and take advantage of some tiring forwards. T-Rex can come on whenever we need him to run over some Maroons. The four front rowers in that rotation were arguably the best four props in the game in 2012 if the stats are any indication. It's a winning side there is no question. As long as they put it together when the time comes.

If you play Fensom, then Gallen plays front row.

I think Josh Reynolds for the Gidley type role to fill in at hooker and back up half will be a good choice. And not A Reynolds, I would still pick Pearce.....Reynolds isn't ready imo. Brett Stewart is incumbent and gets first crack at fullback, Dugan next.

Would love Hayne back in the centres if possible.

A poor kicking game and an overflow of backrowers at the expense of props cost us this year, rectify these problems and we're in with a huge chance. We have plenty of depth in this side too, so injuries shouldn't be too much of a problem, as there was a lot of guys I wanted in their but I just couldn't find a place for them.

I like the balance of this team.

Plenty of strike in that backline. Hayne to link up with the halves for a bit more creativity.

The starting forwards will do well early on. Gallen, Fensom, Farah to all play close to 80mins and they will be there to cover anyone that tries to go through the middle.

Plenty of of size and explosiveness from the bench to have a big impact later in the match.
