I reckon Pascoe is a bit of an oddball, but I find the amount of heat the Newscorp media give him way over the top, and I’m sure it’s agenda driven.
Pascoe has overseen getting the Tigers into the best financial position they’ve ever been in, which in his position within the business, would be one of, if not THE main objective.
Sure, their retention and recruitment has been terrible, and he ultimately oversees it all, but I just feel there’s clearly something external driving the media hate towards him.
Now it’s come out the Raiders have made the same mistake on their Anzac jersey last year (which nobody noticed at the time; so shows it ain’t really that big of a deal), let’s see if the Raiders cop as much flak, and if there are calls for Furners head. Raiders record ain’t that much better than Tigers, Tigers have won a comp more recently than the Raiders, so no reason the heat shouldn’t be heading Furners way.
