The democratically elected Prime Minister of Australia shares a light moment with her good friend the most powerful man in the world, the President of the USA.

It's great to see International Statesman and Statesperson getting on so fabulously. They will have a lot to chat about when they meet up again in australia in September 2013.

f**k the US is a divided nation.
Pharkwitts on oneside. The gays, illegal immigrants, windmillers, tree huggers, druggies, politically correct, parasites, telephone sanitisers, commies & the entitled(to other peoples money brigade.
Up against the bible belt, right to life, the Tea party, jews, Irish, italians etc.
No wonder that country is a mess.

Civil war anybody? about 12 votes separate a nation who despise the other 50%.

& I am sure Gillard & her crooks are watching how the unlosable was lost by banding together every phuckwitt minority group to get a win. & with so many phuckwitts in Australia, it is very concerning.

You are so right Honourable Reefy Son, you should form a Tea Party branch on the Gold Coast.

You could do a CanDo for Canberra too.

That'll sort out the rabble.

I know im right. Its very concerning. The left will always lower their morals & ethics in order to place themselves in places of easy corruption opportunities.
For instance, all labor people believe that stealing other peoples money, to spend on prostitutes is ok, if it means staying in power & being able to support their existence off the hard workers, doers & entrepreneurs in the country.

And it's not like they stole it off Clive or Gina, they stole it off mostly low paid females who will one day be emptying quigs's bedpan

bahahahahaha......one no your best, do you do stand up comedy?

Hey, Labor still accepts his votes & reluctantly accepted his resignation from the party.
The prime minister has backed him every step of the way.
Labor are paying all of his legal bills.
Quigs says thomson is completely innocent & has been hard done by.
All labor people are glad that Thomsons vote is keeping them in power.
If labor supporters had any morals, they would demand their party face the public & call an election.

Look in your own back yard first quigs. Lib supporters abhore those acts & Abbott does not answer to Pell.
You however think its ok to steal poor peoples money to spend on prostitutes. The ethical & moral standsards of that is one of not a participant but a voyeur. Is there really any moral difference between a labor supporter that does not denounce Thomson & demand their party stop accepting his vote & a peddo Catho scum?

Abbott does not answer to Pell.

To federal Coalition leader Tony Abbott, "Cardinal Pell is one of the greatest churchmen that Australia has seen".

Tony Abbott was recently quoted as saying that Pell was "a person of significance and influence" in his life.

"Occasionally, he will ring me with a thought," the politician continued.

"Occasionally, I will ring him to ask if we could catch up. Once or twice I've sought his counsel on important matters where I thought he would have insight and wisdom I didn't think others would likely have."

Pell tells me he and Abbott have been friends for years. "I admire him as a very decent and competent fellow," the cardinal says. "I think he's probably emerged as the most formidable opposition leader in Australian history."

Still, it seems to Catholic writer and historian Paul Collins, a former ABC religion editor, that Pell and Abbott have a special bond. Both were close to the late anti-communist Catholic political activist B. A. Santamaria (Pell gave the eulogy at Santamaria's state funeral in 1998). "And both of them espouse what I call boots'n'all Catholicism," says Collins
