Just watched the full replay now, for those who didn't see it:
*Tim was continuously praised by the commentators
*Tim is taking the right option a lot more, (throwing less inside balls)
*He put the super leagues number 1 halfback, Sean Long, on show
i would take him back in a heartbeat

6. Bird
7. Tim Smith
13. Lowrie
12. Gallan
11. Whatmough
Theres only two blokes in that lot that I would like to be at Parra
With all due respect, though - Sean Long is bollocks.
I don't see how anyone ever rated him. If Long played NRL he would be 16th in the order of best halfbacks. I'd rate every other 7 in the NRL as better than him.

Come on - be honest.. If the club signed Greg Bird or Gallen most parra supporters would be over the moon.
I dont rate them as good people but they can play football.
A return to the Eels is not on the cards, with the new board not keen on a reunion with the playmaker. But a number of clubs are expected to show interest in Smith including the Sea Eagles, Raiders, Titans, Panthers and the Storm.
