Tell me with a straight face that the Rabbits cared about that 2nd half.

They were up 28-0. There is a reason why a 28 point lead has never been run down. All they had to do is get through their sets and put in a kick. Which is exactly what they did.

Our effort was much better, but theirs was minimal.

correct. We have big problems, the next few games are must wins before we fall too far behind

It's gonna be another 2024 regular season for us except worse. A bit of a bludger.

Make the 8 and we will be the favourites to win the comp IMO. Early days but no other side is putting their hand up just yet. The other clubs have plenty of work to do. The issue is that these early losses put a top 4 finish at risk which could kill our season. A second chance or week off is an advantage any club would want.

We can't win it from 5-8th

The side isn't good enough for 4 finals wins.

Gee life's tough when I'm sounding optimistic. I'll wait till mid year before throwing toys out of the cot.

I knew the beginning of the year were going to be tough. I was never under any illusions.

I think maybe some were.

As long as I see improvement on Friday night I'll be happy.

A win would help that along the way.

I don't care how that win happens.......

I'll agree the last 3 games haven't been great. But each week is a new opportunity to correct mistakes and learn lessons.

I'm old enough to remember the Dolphins were winning the comp this time last year. We were sitting 8th after round 5, the same points as the Tigers.. Same time in 2023 we were 7th and had won 1 game.

Amazing how narrow sighted and short memories people have... This team almost always starts slow, throw in the typical combo changes, it takes a good 8 weeks to nail down what we are going to look like when it actually counts.

Panthermike I totally agree.

These were the same punters who believed that Penrith would win by 50 against the Chooks.

A number of these teams have also had their 1st bye too.

Things will improve. I'm very sure of that..

I'm very sure of that.

It's 50/50. It's a tougher ask to win 4 games. Getting the week off It's pretty important for the more weathered squads.

We have a light few weeks, bank some wins now and sneak into 4th then go from there

100% agree with this. Obvious caveat is injuries to important players. Cleary, Dyl, Smith and Yeo (in that order).

I was mentally prepared for the possibility of not taking the comp out or making the GF this year, given all the players we've lost. I wasn't mentally prepared for not even being a contender so things must improve ASAP.

Good win by Parra. Ryley Smith very good. FYI Penrith offered him the same terms as Parramatta. He chose Parramatta because he thought he was more chance of playing FG.

So glad BA and his generational talent Booods (M.Arthur) f**ked off. This R.Smith is a real competitor. He is going to get better and better.
Ionghi needs work but shows glimpses of talent.

Credit where credit is due the Bulldogs are playing Pantherball very effectively.

Much as some will hate to hear it, Ciraldo & Gould are doing a fine job.

Should have put 50 on the Knights tonight given the injuries and sin bin sustained by the Knights but the resilience and defensive steel from the Dogs is impressive.

Dogs are gritty. Not a pretty team to watch but they are effective and they win games. Reminds me of the 2014 Panthers.

What I'd give for their energy in this team.
