Big difference between Dolphins and the Dogs. Both have suffered from injuries, suspensions and having SOO reps. But the Dolphins have embrassed quite a few sides by just playing with plenty of effort.

Dogs lacking effort particularly in recent weeks. Not pretty to watch.

7 times they've conceded 30 or more this season - they have had some injuries granted - defensive attitude is poor - that should be the first thing addressed with a new coach at any club - defend defend defend.

I’m a huge Cleary fan, but a bit early to write Ciraldo off. Webster is doing well though.

Considering the turmoil at Warriors, Webster should be in the running for coach of the Year.
Ciraldo has a "gift wrapped" squad, and to think he was our defense coach.

Given halfbacks are incredibly hard to find it's a damming indictment of his ability.

Majority of the Bulldogs problems are injury related.
Luke Thompson hasn't played a game this year, and Kikau has only played 4. That's their 2 best forwards.
Josh Addo-Carr has only played 9 games.

They've used 33 players so far this year - the most of any team.

If they can get their best team on the field for a few weeks at a time, I think they can do something despite the season already being a write-off for them.

We lost our elite No.7 early in Rd.14, our fill in Fred performed admirably , the same fill in was excellent the following week , Flanagan should be capable of the same performances. Burton is rated a a highly quality HB.

We lost Martin for extended period, still won games, we lose a winger for a season, still win games the list goes on.

Penrith is not Canterbury, you cannot compare squads... we are currently living in an a era where the best and brightest, and team effort focused players are bred in the Penrith district, under a really good system.... gould helped build that, it might be another frew seasons, but bulldogs will get there too, they cannot be compared at this moment, they are probably at that 2016 panthers squad era right now

Didn't see a lot of it, but mad mo day May as well be this week for the Dragons.
