it has to be closed? whys that? because someone is questioning poor old Peyton? i bet if there was something similar about Brady it would be stickyed.
Today showed that Peyton is just a good season long QB, but lacks the big game talent that the likes of Brady and Montana have or had.
Peyton had all day to throw today- much like he has had all season, yet couldn't capitalise.
Brees will be better then Manning imo, and Brady too
and?
You don't see other threads on LU which aren't brought up now and then to prove a point? LU is littered with them, but because it's precious Peyton, it isn't allowed....
And there has been a Brady thread created recently, nobody asked to close that thread..................
This thread is certainly not proving a point, nothing anyone says is going to make me think that Brady is a better QB then Peyton, not in a million years.
Just because Manning lost a Superbowl, doesn't mean the Brady has all of a sudden won the "Greatest QB of all time" title. Last time i check, Brady
didn't make it to this years super bowl, and when the Colts and the Pats played each other this season, who one? That's right,
the Colts.
Right now, i would have to say Manning is the best QB in the game, 3 years ago, i would have said brady. But times change, and teams fall from their pedestal. Manning has just been on his a little longer then most.
Furthermore, how can you say a player like Manning (who has already won a SB) Lacks big game talent, you don't get to 2 Superbowls in 4 years by "lacking big game talent" stupid thing to write. and it's not like Brady has shown up in every big game he has had, let's compare Brady's last SB stats, with Peyton's.
Manning: 31/45 333 Yards 1TD and 1 INT
Brady: 29/48 266 Yards 1TD and 0 INT
from what i saw, Peyton didn't have all day to through, and when he did he got 1st down after first down. I noticed him getting hit quite a bit, and although the Saints didn't get sacks, that doesn't mean they didn't get pressure and hit him around. Which i noticed they did.
The reason i want this thread closed is because people like you feel it is in your place to force your opinion onto others by supplying bogus facts and statements without reason, and now that the season is over it is just going to be the site on constant arguements and i don't want the NFL forum to become what the NRL forum is.
Brady is a great QB, and a certain HOF'er but noone is going to convince me that he is a better QB then Peyton.
