i mean i know his most recent former team was also part of the game, but i think that may have been a little sign that he is ready to return to the EELS

I'd doubt we'll hear anything announced until he gets the all clear to play again.

Don't worry about PJ. If he gets the clearance in Septemebr (and if the operation and recovery were successful, there is no reason for him not to get the clearance), he'll be right.

I notice a lot of people saying that he won't be the same player he was. Rubbish.

Tallis, Benoit, Angle - they all had serious injuries and kept playing. OK, Tallis might be retiring next year and might be a ifferent player, but he still has the same raw aggression we all have come to expect from him.

Angle may be limited in certain aspects in the ring, as is Benoit, but they are going out there every night and busting their arses to entertain. Plus Benoit has also gotten destroyed by Evolution (you know, chairs and all), and he continues to do his diving headbutt from the top rope (which, considering he had a bad neck injury and he continues to do it, is very impressive).

PJ's a fighter. A gutsy, talented player. If he gets the nod, it may take him a few games, but he'll get back to his best. I know it, because he is a champion, and champions never give in.

but during the fox sports commentary of the game they said that Marsh was headed back to Sydney's west next year.

They still havn't officially announced Glenn Morrison's signing.

So, could we be seeing a press release reading:

"Parramatta sign Glenn Morrison, PJ Marsh, Marcus & Henry Perenara"

Well going off what I have heard, Vella and Smith have said and newmanj reported in his conversation with Hindy there is a good chance he will be here. I'd say 75% confirmed awaiting clearance however I wouldn't hold my breath...... :mrgreen:

It's either 1 way or the other Eelementary! however if your sitting down tonight to try and select a top 17 for 05! don't include PJ because of the uncertainty surrounding him.

He has already signed and/or agreed to play with the eels, pending a medical. The eels do not want to announce "PJ Marsh has signed pending a medical clearance." My source is extremely reliable, (ie he would know, before anyone) however he has told me "to keep it quiet." Whether or not it comes to fruition I will be more then happy to tell my fellow Parra forum users who that person was. But only when it becomes official.
