Panthers vs Cowboys

Rabbits, Tigers and now Cows, we need a whole game to put away shit teams. It is killing me. Our attack isn't really that hot at all. I don't know, are we Cronulla the year they ground out a premiership?

Just enjoy the 8 wins and a draw. No it’s not perfect but for the moment just enjoy the fact we are sitting top of the ladder. Have to be doing something right.

Tyrone May is just the ultimate utility. Has come on and played several positions in the 3 games he's played thus far.
Unlucky not to get a try if Naden passes it instead of kicking ahead.

Has been solid despite being out for 18 months.

Imagine if he hadn’t of been out?

Not what we were expecting. Very poor execution today. Just one of those weekends, did anyone play well? The games have been quite poor across the board apart from the Raiders 2nd half.

I thought we dominated just about the whole 80. Disappointing that things didn't click today.

Cleary winning in the effort stakes again. Huge in defence and deserved that final try.

Next week's backline is a challenge:

1. Aiken
2. MWZ
3. Naden
4. Crichton
5. Mansour

But many options. Crichton is tempting. But it will mean makeshift centres. Burns was less than impressive today. A lot of people crying out for Burton. Maybe this is his chance.

I was thinking

1. Crichton
2. Mansour
3. Burton
4. Naden
5. MWZ (Staines if he’s fit)

I really don’t want to see Aekins back.
Agree with you here, but my god Naden has some strange tricks in his game.

I think Staines had 14 days ISO, so I don't know when that started and the Panthers have to train together, so my guess is he will most likely miss next week.

Naden should be picked in the centres and left there for the rest of the season.
He needs some stability in his role to improve his defence. It’s not doing him any favours changing from week to week.
It’s time to move on from Whare.

What game have we executed well in besides the Sharks? I was hoping we turned a corner. A lot of really great individual performances and we still have to scrape home against a dud team.

I think we are being a bit harsh on the performance. Yeah it would have been great to win by cricket score but that was always a bit unrealistic against a side playing for there season.
Difference between this week and last weeks opposition was that the Cows turned up.
