In terms of next week, I wouldn't mind seeing May given a shot at centre. He combined nicely with Naden at the end there and was unlucky not to get the ball back and score on that break they made. He's the right size for the position, has great hands, good footwork and we have a ready made replacement for his substantive role in Burton. Reckon he'd carve a weak team like the tits. Defense is a wildcard but it's not like Naden is strong in that area anyway.

Fullback is a different story. Don't like Aekins but other options weaken other areas of the team too much. Laurie would be an interesting choice if possible.
Try Matt Burton there.

I don’t think the jaw is a problem there was no mention of it in the last injury update video from Penrith.Yes he had to do 14 day isolation not sure when that is up or exactly when it started

Staines suffered a recurrence of lockjaw, which is a condition he is unfortunately familiar with and last suffered during pre-season.

Don't know the severity of it but Blade had him out for awhile. I think it depends if he dislocated his jaw. I believe that can happen with lockjaw. I guess we will find out soon enough.

Can't assess him until he can go back in the bubble regardless.

Can't train for another week atleast. That would include getting looked at injury wise

I was under the impression the jaw was sorted out with a course of antibiotics. I don’t know where I heard it, but I got the impression that was common knowledge.

Maybe so. Given the medical staff can't assess him until Next Sunday then won't know either way

I stated last week that he had Tetnus, which can have an association with lockjaw. Instead, it seems that his condition is temporomandibular joint disfunction or TMD.

Sure did and they were giving as good as they got - right up the centre.
They did this to the Knights a few weeks ago too, a top 4 side. But for some strange reason they can't do it every week. They've been like this for about 3 seasons now.

Just watching a replay. We should have done a captain's challenge on their first try. Edwards was impeded by Cummins.
