MWZ will do a job on the wing.
Aekins is too poor for an NRL fullback
Naden will be one centre. Just depends what you do with Crichton

I never felt this was ever going to be an easy game and it wasn’t.

when you expect to win by a huge margin you are always going to be disappointed.

I really think this was a courageous win and a great two points and I am not disappointed at all.

Has Cummins ever refereed a blow out?
He rarely gives set re-starts and as such rucks are mess and you get what you got today

Not what we were expecting. Very poor execution today. Just one of those weekends, did anyone play well? The games have been quite poor across the board apart from the Raiders 2nd half.

I thought we dominated just about the whole 80. Disappointing that things didn't click today.

Cleary winning in the effort stakes again. Huge in defence and deserved that final try.

Next week's backline is a challenge:

1. Aiken
2. MWZ
3. Naden
4. Crichton
5. Mansour

But many options. Crichton is tempting. But it will mean makeshift centres. Burns was less than impressive today. A lot of people crying out for Burton. Maybe this is his chance.

We play GC... good team to do it against

What game have we executed well in besides the Sharks? I was hoping we turned a corner. A lot of really great individual performances and we still have to scrape home against a dud team.

Have we had our top backline on the field for any game this year?

Yet only Roosters and Sharks have scored more than us.

Sharks at this point is the high watermark. It'll be harder losing Edwards, spine needs as much time as possible together.

Weird game. Felt like we were far stronger but for 10 minutes either side of half time but struggled to finish them off. The error count was pretty awful. It was a decent win, scrappy but they were up for it. They were a desperate side who turned it up a notch when playing for their season.

Cleary was amazing, as was Yeo and Sauce put in a superb shift as well.

Biggest concern now are injuries and COVID imo. Edwards is a massive loss.

If anyone watches Ivan press conference can you let me know what the very last question was, it got a bit of a reaction but I couldn’t hear the question.

In terms of next week, I wouldn't mind seeing May given a shot at centre. He combined nicely with Naden at the end there and was unlucky not to get the ball back and score on that break they made. He's the right size for the position, has great hands, good footwork and we have a ready made replacement for his substantive role in Burton. Reckon he'd carve a weak team like the tits. Defense is a wildcard but it's not like Naden is strong in that area anyway.

Fullback is a different story. Don't like Aekins but other options weaken other areas of the team too much. Laurie would be an interesting choice if possible.
