Many years ago when the NRL first introduced the June 30 deadline where you weren't allowed to negotiate and announce external signings, there were about a dozen announcements by clubs of signings by 9am July 1.

a perfect example of the NRL, clubs, players and Agents taking the piss and treating fans like idiots.

and of course the media swallowed it up like it was no issue.

A possitive for our season. Rooster are coming first. Perhaps Gronk was right and I was wrong. They stacked the Flegg side with guys from NSW cup like Laizou, Mataele etc.
Would be great if we did something in this competition for club morale

Looks like junior ‘development’ is back to 2017 levels. The question is can we maintain this level of resourcing. It’s very exciting.

Is the final round of NSW Cup and Flegg next week?

I assume we've done enough (or will be by the final game) to qualify all our players eligible for Flegg to play in the Finals? (Although I'm not including Penisini and Russell in that)
