He was suspended by the NRL from performing his duties in relation to the NRL however the NRL is not able to suspend a board member from a Pty Ltd company. Only ASIC has that power.

No mention of any change to his role in the PLC.

As a proxy under the conditions of clause 37 he isn't a long term replacement for Issa realistically. If Issa gets removed from PLC then by default, Dr. Lomond will need to step away from the PNRL Board.

From memory the question brought to the supreme court was the validity in suspending them from NRL related duties (i.e suspension of the NRL Accreditation) without due process.

And yes, the PNRL is a P/L company, hence why the NRL has no jurisdiction over its Directors, only over the duties they can perform in relation to companies function as an NRL franchisee.
