3 Souths players tried for it last night, they were ignored by the ref and subsequently jumped up and started being normal. Bout time the players were sent for a 15 minutes spell. The funny thing was two of the players were Mitchell and Walker.

Getting a jury duty letter in the mail today

Yeah they put you on jury duty then A "legal expert " tells you how to interpret everything. Apparently a jury of peers just cant be trusted. I've opted out twice because my main criteria would be to decide what was most likely the truth and that has nothing to do with the advesorial system where obvious lies are given same credance as truth as long as the liar sticks to their lie, and their times and dates stack up.

Apparently they're looking at it being heavily back-ended.
I can see it now - sign him, then he gets "medically" retired when the business end of his contract comes rolling around. Good way to keep it off the cap.

I've got not problem with them increasing each year like a normal salary, but when you're talking 50% or more increase it should not be allowed. The NRL should see them for what they are - a way to get players in under the cap without paying their true worth.

And another thing. I can't remember if I've posted this, but Gus Gould getting all shitty at the NRL for not taking 200k of Josh Jackson's salary off this year's cap.

He's transitioned to a position as strength and conditioning coach.
If Gould's argument is that that money is his salary for that role, is he seriously trying to tell us a first year strength and conditioning coach is on upwards of 200k?
