He's got 2 100s, a 75 and an 88 and averages 53 in South Africa against Steyn and co. They have good quicks but no spinner worth mentioning. The ideal opponents for WGG to be brought in against.
Yea but he had a different technique then, how do we know his new technique will hold up against the best attack in the world. He was dropped after the 2011 tour of South Africa for poor form so the argument he scored well against South Africa is based on the 2009 series alone. In his last test series in South Africa WilliamGilbertGrace scored 117 runs at 29.95 as an opener.
