I know I am in the minority here, but I think Marsh is a very talented batsmen that still has an international future in all three formats.
Really?
I find him ordinary in all formats
In t20 and one dayers, he is the slowest scorer of runs for his first 20-30 runs, absolutely Boycott/Tavare slow. However at times he does ump the run rate and then scores at a brilliant rate and covers up his initial slowness. Problem with that is, during that 20-30 run period of his he creates pressure on the other bloke to keep things ticking over. Also when he doesn't go on with it, its double wammy pressure on the side.
Its not co incidence his strike rate in t20i and ODI is well below what it should be in this day and age of rope boundaries and huge totals. There are far better players than Marsh not getting a fairer go in One dayers, Callum Ferguson for one.
Test cricket? Lets just not go there.
