Yeah I don't get the obsession with Quayle either. Plus the ARLC just installed him on the Knights board, so if they want his view he's only a phonecall away.

He's worried that if we follow the lead of the AFL (as we always do) and play the majority of games involving Sydney teams at centralised stadiums, his Sharkies will lose their identity somewhat. Not to mention their fully owned ground at Woolooware will become the whitest of elephants.

Jesus christ. I can't help but look at that and laugh. He kept on and on saying St George should dump Kogarah to have games at the SFS or Homebush and now they do he's going on about how more footy needs to be played at suburban grounds

The thing is to remember with Sloth is that he's an "opinion columnist", someone in the dark distant past gave him the right to write in the paper his "views" of the game and somehow these have become news. I think that his task is to try and mirror what the public perception is at that moment as that'll sell more papers due to what people want to read about.

His job is to have an opinion and more often you're either going to like it and so leave a glowing comment on the site or hate it and leave an angry message on the site, but it's all to do with hits etc.

Thanks to those that post his articles on here so I don't have to give them a hit with I try to read them. I do have to laugh at his views and being a complete hypocrite, one week loving what Dave Smith is doing for the game thanks to a few free Crownies and then a few weeks later goes back to bagging Smith and Co.
