I seriously don't get all you people who hate Hewitt... Especially those of you who went for bloody Roddick! Hewitt's a bit of a loud mouth, sure, but I'd rather go for a lound mouth aussie over a whinging lound mouthed yank any day of the week! Since you seem to think Safin got 3 code violations when he didn't, it's obvious you didn't watch the match. Yes Hewitt was aruging all these calls, but replays suggested he was wrong, and the call was right.

Safin was great in victory. No crazy antics when he won, just put his hands up was very gracious in victory.
I hate to even begin to think what Hewitt would have done had he won!

Hewitt's behaviour last night was unacceptable on the court.

I support his play, I support him pumping himself up but just when I think i'm gaining respect for him again, he does that, it was uncalled for, he was incorrect anyway.

I'm happy Safin won, because as Bruce said, he is better than a 1 hit wonder, i'm spewing he couldn't win last year when I had a $30 on him to win the tournament at 28-1 and he got beaten, was not a happy chappy. haha.

Good on Safin, he is a very humble man, he appreciates the game to a spectacular degree and respects supporters that do to. Sure he can get fired up but you know, thats entertainment, having played in competitions before, I know I get fired up when i miss a shot or am playing badly, its just some can't stay stone cold like Federer all the time, emotion is a big part of the game.
