And as for Alicia ... you got robbed today, but you showed true class in defeat. Most people wouldnt know this, but 2 years ago Lleyton Hewitt fought tooth and nail to partner Alicia in the Hopman Cup, instead of that pratt, Nicole Pratt. Lleyton saw something in her that noone else did ... and that was a willingness to succeed, plus a never give up attitude. Because of his faith in her, i bet that is also one of the reasons that Alicia FINALLY believes in herself.
Australian tennis owes shitloads to Lleyton ... the people bagging him seem to be people who are content with being also-rans or basically out and out blatant losers like wussy Pat Rafter. Its no surprise to me.

I have never doubted Hewitt's ability or determination. He is the second most successful player Australia has ever produced, behing Rod Laver. In time, he could be even better than Rod Laver, but his behaviour on and off court stinks.
It is funny how Australians choose to ignore his boorish behaviour. If he was out-of-form, Aussies would pan him hard. But in Australia, we all like a winner. Also, if a foreigner acted like Lleyton dd and was successful eg Federer, he'd be panned as well. A hypocrite like you would be the first in line. Look at your fans attitude to Hodges, for example. When he was going good, you accepted his bullsh*t. When he went bad and left, he ws bagged. The same thing will happen to Lleyton.
Your panning of Pat Rafter is a disgrace. Rafter, while not as talented as Lleyton, was just as determined and gutsy as Lleyton. He just does'nt need to act like a c**k on court. People like Wayne Pearce and Laurie Daley have that same iron will, just don't need to show it.
Im a bit wrong about Alicia and apologise for that. Her attitude won me over today.
