Would love to stay positive but based on what we have seen the last 2 seasons and the 9's and charity shield, Prices stamp is still on our side eg paper thin defence, no intensity, one out football in attack. I hope we will improve over the next few weeks but in all honesty the signs are there that we need a total overhaul in the coaching staff.

Doing hard yards then giving away a penalty on 1st tackle,opposition starting tackle count in their 20m area and last tackle finishing in our 20m area.Forwards dominated ,poor defence,poor discipline.
ALL AREAS WE WERE GUILTY OF LAST SEASON,AND CONTINUING AGAIN NOW.

I see it this way, If the Dragons don't win games and make the top eight. Then the NRL will suffer more than us fans, with poor crowd attendance, low merchandize sales, bad TV ratings.
It is up to the NRL to make sure the Dragons perform well in 2014 or demand that Price is sacked!

The NRL is quite happy to see a few sydney clubs struggle as it will give them more evidence to support their case for having less teams in sydney.

Its up to the dragons to make sure they are not one of those teams with a target on their back, however by agreeing to become more nomadic this season and play less home games at our traditional venues the dragons are already playing right into the NRL's hands...
add to that another season of poor form and we are doing everything we can to put the target on our backs ourselves.....

the NRL dont care about history - its all business. if they kicked out Souths previously there will be no reason they wouldnt force the dragons to re-locate if the financials stacked up...

part of the club is Sydney based. And like it or not the gong part of the JV will also be affected by the NRL's plans to reduce the number of sydney based teams..

The NRL has no obligation or agenda to prop up any team. They are supposed to be the governing body. I agree, as Roy Masters said last week, crowds in 2013 were down as a result of teams like Saints, Parra etc, not being in the running.
It was an insightful article, as per usual from Masters.

They were fortunate to have the bunnies in there.

Your thread is well intentioned, but remember, if anyone can remove Price, its the Board, and so long as Doust is there, it would take 6-7 straight losses for this to happen.
