Shillington had to be dropped he has been horrible but they need another prop. Hannant played 60 mins last night. He could have been on the bench at least

Hannant definitely should of gotten a run.

Hannant 163 metres and 38 tackles for the Broncos last night.

And he would only improve for the run. Very puzzling why he would be chosen over Gillett - 151 metres and 32 tackles.

The only change I agree with is Parker replacing Harrison. It's a small team and we will get punished. Hannant should have been chosen.

Don't be surprised if Gillett or Te'o come down with a strange "virus" and Hannant is rushed into the squad, leapfrogging Kennedy.

Dimwit & Fwanky.

Borrow $5 and go and buy a sense of humour. By your reaction must have been close to a pretty raw nerve.

Or you could lighten up a tad.

Whislt I applaud seeing DCE in the squad. It feels like this would be a decision better made if we were 2up going to game 3.

I know our halves didn't execute last game and JT had an injury cloud. -Maybe Mal didn't want to risk it, I mean who would play 6/7 if they got injured and Hannant was in over DCE? Boyd? Slater? Smith? Inglis? All names are capable, but it seems to come down to a gamble between a specialist prop or a specialist playmaker.

I would probably have drawn straws between Mqueen, Gillo and Teo to step down for Hannant since we definately lack the big men. I don't have too many doubts still that QLD will get the job done @ Suncorp.

That was humour? Was it the fact that it's probably the 50th time you've tried the joke that makes it funny? Judging by your incessant need to keep bringing it up, the raw nerve lies with you.

DCE is an interesting one..can't see Qld picking a bloke and having him warm the bench all night like Reynolds did. No Hannant is a plus for NSW..but Merritt is a far bigger plus for Qld.

QLD chose Cronk for a long time leading up to Lockyers retirement, grooming him with 20ish minutes per game so he could slot in nicely. Chances are, Mal saw in game 1 that JT and/or Cronk were getting tired and he needed to start getting one of their replacements ready...

Cronk has utility value, Dce does not. Reynolds has utility value.

Why not? DCE has a great running game and a cool head on his shoulders, he could easily slip into 6, 7 or 9, probably even play lock to add an extra attacking option if they were that way inclined.

gets old doesn't it? fact is when NSW had their backs up against it, the NSW posters on here never heard the end of it.... Hell even the biggest cheat in the game - cam smith publicly went out and said how NSW needed to be more 'loyal'.

DCE will be a good utility but I think we needed another big bopper on the bench.
