Terrible game, terrible attitude, but credit to the Dragons, I thought they were really good and would of rolled most teams on Saturday.

Moylan goes through fazes where he seems scared to get tackled/wants to be the hero, and would rather bat on every pass that comes his way rather than catch it. He has a ton of potential, but he is ridiculously frustrating at times.

Forwards were horrendous. Like others have said maybe Cartwright back to the bench and Rein onto the bench as well. Very early days though, wouldn't be making mass changes.

Akouala and Rein in for Browne and Leota. Missed Akoula's hard running

I hope the players felt the same pain the fans felt during the video review. Perhaps they should be made to watch the replay a couple of times during the week.

We were helped last season when Grevs and Akauola came on, really missed them.

I know Browne was not a popular pickup, but what does it say when you replace him when he made nearly twice as many metres as Leota and Latu, while missing a quarter of the tackles. He made nearly three times the metres of RCG while missing a sixth of the tackles he missed.

Akouala will come in for sure. I see Browne as a guy you either start or you don't play at all. He won't change the tempo off the bench but will do the boring stuff early

I don't think the Panthers will play that bad again this season. Better to get one like that out of the way in rd1 instead of in the finals. Like someone else said in the thread, maybe they just thought they'd need to show up to win and once things got real, they couldn't find any rhythm.

After 4 years of rubbish I think my little faith in my team is justified, but yesterday it felt good to see my side win because it doesn't happen very often in recent times.

I am hopeful we don't play that badly again, we shall wait and see whether it was just a minor blip or a sustained dip in form.

Between 2011 and 2013, that sort of win would have been lapped up by us on here, when wins were far and between, such as the matches v Manly in 2012 and Melbourne in 2013, both at Penrith.

I don't have any real rap on him either, but do you really give the rest of the pack (Yeo aside) a pass after their performances and drop Browne?

That is the question for the coaches. Personally Merrin needs time to get match. so should they start him off the bench Browne should start. I don't think Browne misses Thompson as easily as Bryce did either. So again if They bench him start Browne.

I expect the same 21 named and certain options to be played out but Browne/Rein would be fighting for the last bench spot.

There will obviously be a couple of changes. Hiku will be replaced by Edwards. AkauIola needs to come in to add some mongrel which was sadly missing on the weekend. Maybe Bryce needs some time in NSW Cup to get his head right and find some form.

I believe we can bounce back this Sunday, I don't think we can lose our first 2 games with our squad.

I'm afraid to say it, but if we can get belted by 32 points against the Dragons, we can pretty much be beaten by anyone on the day. That's the nuts and bolts of it. So I think we definitely can lose the first two games with this squad.

I just heard on the radio that Hiku is out for 4 weeks.
Fractured eye socket from a grub shot by Packer that was neither penalised nor cited. The refs weren't at all nice to us in the first half of this match, by the second half it was all over.

This is why blokes stay down, which is what Hiku should have done. Packer just clocked him.

Looks like Edwards gets his chance.

Unfortunately for Edwards it might only be one week anyway with DWZ to come back for Round 3
