Ok, it's Round 1 so the sky is not falling in but I am not the least bit surprised by anything I saw out there today. We are hyped up by the press, the fans on here think we are a sure thing and then we put in that disgraceful display. Full credit to the dragons, they thoroughly deserved their win but considering we were supposed favourites to win the comp we will now in all likelihood be stone cold last after the first round.

Browne and Tamou sure toughened up our defencr in the middle...

Deadset wasted money. What we had was just as good. In the case of Browne it was better.

Seriously, Tamou, RCG, Merrin, Cartwright, Yeo, Leota, Latu, Browne, and JFH should hang their heads in shame. The worst forwards performance I think I have ever seen from us. Absolutely nothing for our baby halves to work with.

Why waste time on guys finding form in Hiku and Whare when Edwards is in peak fitness and ready to go?

Hiku copped blatent high shot on one of his first touches, never looked settled after that. He's not a winger and despite that he's done more than Moylan.

Our forwards were dog shit. JWH must be trying to emulate his Canberra efforts.

RCG played like a puss. Tamou was rubbish.

Cleary copped a decent high shot and went MIA.

Find me a positive. TMM?

Ask our esteemed coach. I would have Edwards over Whare for sure and keep Hiku because we need a second winger. Trouble is, I don't like Moylan at fullback either.

Everyone enjoy the ride on the Penrith roller coaster. I surely went for the ride. I have been on it so many times but it gets me every time. It won't be the last time.

I am not surprised by the Dragons winning. i have said all week they would be up for this one. I was certainly wrong in respect of the scoreline as I thought there would only be six points or so in it.

What can you say!!!! We were diabolical. Regardless of this result the Dragons will finish towards the bottom on the ladder and we have gifted them two points.

There are or were no positives out of this game. We were simply dreadful. To say I am disappointed is an understatement.

And Edwards has a history in FG extending to how many games? Hiku and Whare are proven first graders. We sat through a year of Blake being a numpty before he showed us anything remotely FG quality. I'd rather see peachy back on the bench before Edwards gets thrown in at the expense of hiku or whare.

Whare and Hiku were both horrible. They were both poor through the trials. They arent match fit. They WERE proven first graders. Injuries and time change that.

Dylan Edwards is fit. If he doesnt get a run with both wingers out after being our best in the preseason. Hes wasting his time here.

Hiku and Whare looked great didnt they? Only injury player to look good was TMM and he had a few reserve grade games at the end of last year and internationals between seasons.

Edwards would have been better than either player. Hell he could have done better than Moylan too. Our back 3 were horrible.
