Rugby League supporters sure do have short memories.
Knights 'icon' (not sure about that) or even Manly scum, wishing injury on any player is just a shit merkin move.
So you're trying to tell me that not one of you has ever wished an injury on Steve matai or billy slater? Yeah right...bunch of angels in here
Everyone who says they've never, ever wished injury on anyone, be they a footballer or not, is flat out lying. We've all done it at some point. The only people who could say they've never had thoughts like that would be the friggen pope
I must be a Pope, I can honestly say I have never wished an injury on any player.
I enjoy football and an injury to a player robs us all of the thrill watching them display their talent for what is a short career. I always want my team to win, and never would I wish an injury of a player , especially from my team , shit player or not they have something in common with me, they love the team.
Kurt is a Newcastle boy through and through and in the pursuit of his dream he's had injuries which will come back to haunt him as his body grows old. He would of been a certainty for the World Cup squad , he's Captained and played for his State , played for his country and represented our town with great honor. Shame on anyone who would put the man down.
Show some respect.
Hey. if your opinion is hoping for a career ending injury to a Knights icon, be my guest.
My limited knowledge of tissue/tendon/ligament injuries are usually along the lines of significant pain when trying to mobilize the area. A bone break will have consistent sharp pain, usually relieved by ElephantJuice. (lol at the moderation on the word for legal opiates)
It could be they gave it to him as a precaution. If he heard a snap, it could have been the ligaments, not a bone, but they could administer the morphine as a safe guard. He wasnt sucking on it once on the medicab, so that points to a joint/tendon issue. That will make fred happy as the rehab on one of these is much more than a break.
Saying someone is being a dick implies they have a choice.
lol because he isn't a soldier, nurse or park footballer he is undeserving of your respect?
That will dead set do me. Just stop mate, seriously
Yeah pretty much. I respect those who make a difference to society, not the meatheads who provide nothing but entertainment value and get paid ridiculous amounts to do so.
Wow, what a load of shit.
You are really surprising me with your stupid ignorance here mate. If this is you true attitude, and I suspect it's not, then I pity the people in your life
Wake up to yourself

What's stupid and ignorant about it? Everyone has different people they choose to respect, and have their own reasons for doing so. My wife is also someone who doesn't respect professional footballers...is she stupid and ignorant too?
What's stupid and ignorant is not recognizing that everyone is entitled to their own opinion...
Its ignorant to assume that someone doesnt deserve your respect as a human just because of the job they perform. Its ignorant because you clearly have no idea what it takes to become a professional footballer and the levels at which our players and a fair chunk of the other 15 teams worth give back to the community in charity work. Besides, wishing injury on someone whom you are unlikely to know outside of watching them on a TV screen goes beyond disrespect, its just downright moronic and a sad reflection of our 3rd person society where we can attack each other over the web with little or no recourse. Id be interested to know what your reaction would be if someone told you you were undeserving of respect based solely on the job you do and the money you earn. Something tells me you would have a fair bit to say in your own defence of such an opinion based on ignorance of facts.
I recognise your entitlement to your moronic opinion, however I am just as entitled to tell you how much of a self righteous twat you are for having said opinion
