I'm not so sure how long a fractured thumb would keep him out.
Our next game is 13 days away so hoping he might miss none or 1 games only.
I'm not too disappointed about him missing origin.
4-8 weeks they say, he has to have scans though so let's hope for the best.

Broken thumbs are not normally longer than a month..

If he's gonna be out ages strap him up and I reckon he can play with it until end of season!

We need him out there mate!
Well we've got the bye next week and then the dogs and tigers so it could possibly work out OK.

Ugh shit...Not good news about GI at all. It's a big blow and I really hope he's not out for too long.

However, such is the side that we have this year is that we have guys who are very capable of covering him.

Also, this could be a chance for GI to rest up and come back for a full on assault at hopefully a Premiership.

Still hoping he's not out for too long though.

We have the bye in that time too.

More importantly, it might be a good chance for Adam Doueihi to string a few games together in the same position.

He has the ball playing and running games to keep our options on the left edge going too (which is why I'd go with him over Hunt)

If Seibs is going to also rest Gags against the Dogs, along with GI being gone, it might be the perfect game to give young Hiroti a first grade run. See what he’s got.

It’s not the end of the world at all. Sure we’ve got a few games that on paper we should still have more than enough to win.
On a positive note, he’s not going to get injured playing Origin.
