Gees , I am glad you are not the coach!

We should not play GI until his thumb is 100% , hopefully the 6 weeks out is IT! a good thumb is useful for catching , passing and gripping other players for starters not to mention favouring an injury can lead to other injuries........treat your champions with respect!

If the team cannot manage to win at least half the games during that period without him , then we do not deserve to be in top 2 and won't be.

I think the team can win most of the games if he out for six weeks........we then get him back 100% , refreshed , for the end of seasons game leading into the finals ......perfect!!!!

Going by your picture mate I thought you would go for the spartan,BLACK KNIGHT approach!!
You're right, of course, but I reckon GI would still be good!! GI thought himself that it was only a minor injury & that's why he stayed on the field! He was shocked to find it was broken.

"TIS BUT A SCRATCH!!!" I hope not 6 wks!!??

Did your thumb come good & how long before you could use it as normal??

If you have a broken thumb you pretty much can’t play any sport that involves your hands. Catching is impossible, passing and throwing would be ridiculous because you couldn’t grip the ball properly. It’s just a horrible time. Not too mention it’s ridiculusly painful to even come in contact with the ball. We have good depth in the centre/wingers as well. GI should be nice and refreshed for the finals which is also a nice bonus.

Mine was a dislocation that i played with. Ever since I've had a weaker grip and often struggle to open jars with metal lids, as well as it occasionally popping out during simple activities.
Seriously, i never realised how important a thumb was until i hurt it.

Another angle to look at, it's a chance to prepare for life after GI if he was to retire end of 2018.
AJ has been showing very good signs at FB and one of AD or Hunt will have an opportunity to press their claims for a potential start in 2019.

Definately not your strong trait either, your more into antagonistic reviews of others:sunglasses:
Still sulking because your silly made up rumour about James Graham got exposed huh?

The more you carry on with this insecure squealing, the more insecure you look about getting exposed.

By all means, continue :joy:

I read tonight on NRL Physiology page Doyen on Facebook that with surgery it can sometimes be a quicker recovery.

We have Storm in 4 weeks and 4 days from now in Round 21 @callmack1. I think GI will be back for this game! If he's out then he'd sure be a certainty against Rorters week after!

We need him back ASAP. We need to make the top 4 first of all!

Can't see us beating teams like the Storm without GI!

Other teams get a lift too knowing GI isn't there! It's a big loss for us!

We already have no Kennar or Burns either. Can't afford more injuries in the backs!

Okay, two things

1- You were saying we couldn't beat Parramatta or the Cowboys

2- Literally the worst thing we could do is rush G.I back before he's fully fit and have him re-injure himself and miss the finals.

Agree. As long as he keeps his aerobic fitness up, along with some doable strength training, the only game we need GI back for is RD1 finals. Any game before that is a bonus, and ideally with 2 or 3 games of match fitness under his belt.

He played a game at the end of last year and for the time he played he seemed good.
Not sure about this year.
Has been solid since returning from injury.him and connor tracey had a field day against a young and inexperienced right edge for wyong last week

relax

First , the most important need is to have GI fit going into the finals

second , a loss before the finals is NO BIG DEAL , having a loss would take the pressure off " a winning streak continuation " , I would be more nervous going into finals with a massive winning streak. We need a loss and if did lose to Storm without GI , no problem.

third , I want to beat the storm in finals.

How do people that watch ISP regularly rate Dean Britt? Is he pushing for a first grade appearance soon?
Plays on the left edge like Sutton and given we don't carry a second rower on our bench rotation, it'll be hard for him to crack a spot at the moment.

He has been playing really well though. He missed some time with injury, but he's returned with the same form he showed in the pre-season trials
