Agreed, hopefully he'll be okay. I hink the fact that he's not out for the season and will be back relatively soon will help him cope with it.

He’s really taken the captaincy by the balls this year. Both for us and QLD. I’ve had my doubts about he’s on field captaincy in the passed few seasons. But he is the leader out there this year, and I’m glad to eat my words. I think that’s why it is emotional for him, he’s invested 100% and then bam!! I’m sure the boys will help him get through it mentally.

I think the Queensland captaincy helped him really regain his confidence.

He was solid coming back at centre this year, but since Origin he's been like a house on fire.

He goes looking for the ball a lot more, his defence has been world class and he's coming up with some big plays at vital times.

Has the playmaking and ball playing skills of a half and an awesome running game.

No one can flat out replace G.I, but Doueihi will give our left edge a lot more options in attack than Hunt will.

Yea that's real, a mate showed me that he posted it on his Instagram, ouch for sure haha.

I don't think GI will be back for the Storm game in Round 21, I think he'll be back the week after in a massive game against the Roosters. We can't rush him back, especially at the business end of the year.

Even without GI, I think we are a chance to beat anyone this year it'll just be a wee bit harder.

GI needs to channel Mal Meninga and get a cast like he used to wear.

To this day, I still can't work out how that was even legal? It used to run from wrist to elbow and it looked like it weighed about 3 kilo's.

Big Mal used to use it like a bumper bar...

GI already has the most lethal fend in Rugby League, if he had a massive cast on one arm and fended guys off, it'd be like being hit with a sledge hammer.

Nah...he broke it 3 times between 87-88.
