Well there goes GI's captaincy. I'm really disappointed by this news because someone like GI should know better!! He does know better and he has made a big mistake!

I think you will find Allan playing at fullback next year and Inglis remaining in the centres

Allen has quite similar stats to AJ currently imo and we need to be patient with this kid.

Keary was terrible in his last few years at the club, he needed a club change

I view it as being arrogant not to stand down if I'm being honest.

I don’t think arrogant is fair. I think Inglis loves playing for his country and obviously he doesn’t want to give that up. What he did was stupid and he probably does deserve to be punished for it but if you’re gonna give a 2 game ban over drink driving are we gonna start dishing out bans for assaulting, drugs and other forms of crime? I think half the NRL would be banned if we started doing that and it’s mostly due to the culture of rugby league. I think the problem starts with the culture and I think until it’s fixed shit like this is always gonna happen. I think there is a feeling of being invulnerable from the law among most sporting athletes as they are famous. However, Inglis should know better especially as he is a senior player in the Souths squad and we have players looking up to him.

I got kind of sick of Angus hogging the ball near the end of the season. Gagai was completely starved of ball near the end of the season. Angus’ discipline was also pretty shit. However he runs great lines and if he can learn to pass he could be a great player. If we’re gonna keep him i hope Its not on the big money that the roosters are throwing at him and it’s more reasonable. I’m quite excited to see what players like Sironen and Britt can produce on the edge and if they can ballplay.
