We basically played the same team last year as 2017 and went
From 12th to 4th.
I’m not sure we need to change to much.

A team always needs some new blood otherwise it stagnates, we at least need 4 young fellas that can develop and push the first graders, corey Allen is a start.

I would love to see Jake at Souths but i think you mean Tom T mate lol.

The more i read about Corey Allen, the more I'm certain he'll hit the ground running at FB in 2019.

Based on recruitment I’m pretty sure Seibold’s long term plan is Corey Allan. AJ will start the year at fullback and as the season goes on and if Allan impresses the right people he could very well see a debut next year.

The question that we are left with though is who gets dropped? I think Graham is probably the most likely with AJ going back to the wing. I think it’s exciting times ahead. We would have 2 top gun wingers, top gun centres and if Allan turns out to be the prodigy that everyone says we could have a gun roster by 2019/2020.

Truthfully im sick of AJ playing FB, he is a good winger who should stay at wing,he does nothing at the back, he has to be the laziest FB in the comp,i have never seen 1 throw the ball continually to the wingers to take up. I feel corey Allen who is the presidents 13 FB should go straight there and be blooded immediately. If meninga thought highly enough to put him there i support him as well. GI could go there and put Allen in the centres, by all accounts he is the 1 that got away from the donkeys,a very talented player.
We cannot play exactly the same team next year,obviously we fell short,something must be changed.

I have stats about Corey Allan” season with Souths Logan.

I will look to make a thread up in the coming days.

Currently imo his stats look quite similar to AJ.

We will have to be patient with him but in a couple of years he could be anything.

It’d be great if Seibs can add another dimension and we have to to get better.

I’m not a fan of AJ at fullback. We can’t imo win a comp with him there. He’s too hesitant. Plus afraid to run.
