Stats are misleading. They don't show the slumps that last for 3 or more games, or the absolute floggings we have each year, our inability to beat the very best teams, Storm or Roosters, or our inability to be a genuine grand finalist.

Changing the coach isn't going to fix any of that. It's about resources. Why do you think SBW didn't want to play for any other club? Or why Cameron Smith has spent his entire career at Melbourne?

generally the halves are the ones who should be supported but Field has not struck me as much of a play maker as yet

Generally it’s not the halves making the breaks / offloading (they are creating them).

Over the last few weeks, our support play has been poor, so generally any breaks haven’t resulted in much.

Nope, just because I think the team are going to shit the bed yet again doesn’t mean I want it to happen. Predicting it and wanting it are too different things.


Like predicting a roughie with no form is going to knock me out of the Quaddie today, it’s not like a want it to happen.

Nearly anything could happen, so your 'predictions' are just guesses. Why not guess the best case scenario rather than the worst?

I agree with that, but can understand why others don't.

The other issue for mine is the lack of recognition of any of the good (of which there has been some) or the tendency to praise others for it and not acknowledge BA's role.

It's like you think he only has his hands on all the shit stuff and none of the good stuff which we know isn't true.

Anyway, I predict we will go back to basics and get some form back. I think we'll finish Top 4 I see us falling a game short of the GF. Would you view that as a failure?

He seems to think it's possible for an NRL team to go into a game with a 0% chance of losing, but only for teams coached by 'good' coaches. More to the point, whenever we lose, the chance of it happening was 100%, and it's all the coach's fault. He doesn't understand probability, which is why he's a shit punter.

If we don't win the virtual World Club Challenge, it is a failed season and a missed opportunity and BA should be shown the door before Xmas break mate.

We just need to keep it simple - roll up the middle, bomb (or kick to the corner), and just bash teams out of the game.

We were doing it to Souths in the first 10 minutes, before we inexplicably started throwing stupid passes, and offloads, and the Bunnies made us pay.

Keep it simple - use our greatest advantage, our big, mobile, aggressive pack - to smash teams up.
