Agreed. They left it go the next night, in the Titians game.
I'm happy either way as long as it's ruled that same way all the time.Which is how it should be applied. Player makes wrong decision the attacker shouldn't just stop

That wasn't how it was posted though iirc. Right or wrong it read as though it was your opinion Soni would be better than Api by whatever point in time you threw out. Yeah, you copped more stick than you deserved, but mostly because you gave the impression you were dying on that hill no matter what. No different to @martielang copping it for his undying love for Katoa and all things plod. It's mostly just a bit of fun. You give as good as you get anyway.
One mans plod is another mans treasure.
If Luke is making a 1 on 1 tackle, other than scramble obviously, something has gone wrong.
Eel sushi is excellentHas anyone in this thread tasted eel before? Working on dinner ideas for tomorrow.
I suggest mix it with petrol and then set light to it. Eel flambé. Then throw it away. Eel is disgusting, I tried it and couldn't stomach it. I put it in the cats dish and it sniffed it once and then left the room in contempt as if I had insulted it. Definitely Ralph, Bert and Huey material. A bit like the team.......Has anyone in this thread tasted eel before? Working on dinner ideas for tomorrow.

None of our premierships came because of 2 hookers though. Only one time could you argue we carried 2 specialist hookers, but even then our second hooker could play in the forwards. He wasn't strictly on the bench to cover 1 position. If the 16 teams how many of them are the 3 times defending premiers?
Apart from quality, I can’t see the difference between a Kenny/Api combo and a Kenny/Luke combo; assuming you trust Luke to play long minutes if needed, doesn’t it offer the same flexibility?None of our premierships came because of 2 hookers though. 2021 we had Tyrone May as our utility, no specialist hooker.
2022 we had Mitch Kenny and Jaemon Salmon on our bench (well Kenny started but was our secondary hooker). Kenny spent 17 minutes at hooker then played in the forwards.
2023 we had Cogger as our utility, no specialist hooker.
Each year our utility has been able to cover multiple positions, and aside from Cogger could play in the forwards. May, Salmon and Cogger all had backgrounds in the halves aswell. The one thing they all have in common, is that unlike Soni Luke they can play positions other than 9.
No way can Luke go for 60mins in the finalsApart from quality, I can’t see the difference between a Kenny/Api combo and a Kenny/Luke combo; assuming you trust Luke to play long minutes if needed, doesn’t it offer the same flexibility?
Kenny had Salmon offering additional flexibility. Ivan wasn’t satisfied with JUST a hooker covered on his bench and ran with 2x utilities that year. But both could play in the forwards.Apart from quality, I can’t see the difference between a Kenny/Api combo and a Kenny/Luke combo; assuming you trust Luke to play long minutes if needed, doesn’t it offer the same flexibility?
Thus Letoa or Soro need to play from the bench. Such a no brainerKenny had Salmon offering additional flexibility. Ivan wasn’t satisfied with JUST a hooker covered on his bench and ran with 2x utilities that year. But both could play in the forwards.
Luke on the bench doesnt offer that unless we run a second utility. Luke isnt a 60+ minute hooker like Api was either.
so if Ivan ran Luke and Cole on bench it would be similar. But it would be giving up a lot of size in doing so. I dont think we can afford that with our already light bench. Honestly our bench is going to be extremely tough to get right this year. Unless someone like Geyer comes in and kicks on. I feel we will always drop from great to average when we hit our bench.
