I hope Luke Garner gets some decent minutes and plays well.

It has been a difficult season for him, injuries have hindered him and has struggled a bit for form but Sunday is a good opportunity for him to put himself back in the running for a spot in the 17.

This is a game where clearly back at full strength, there will be no upset.

Hopefully Nathan comes thru all good, refreshed mentally and physically, we make a statement and play for the full 80 minutes.

Not that our for and against needs a boost, but certainly an opportunity for us to play some expansive footy and hopefully win in a commanding manner.

It appears the top eight is probably down to 9 teams, it is unlikely any side currently lower than the Cowboys can make the eight.

We can really cement our top four position with two wins against the Bulldogs and Sharks and then the challenge will be trying to lock in a top two position with more difficult games to finish the regular season.

The competition starts now and hopefully Sunday is a really positive performance.

On The Kennel they are predicting a new record for them in biggest loss. To beat it I think we need to crack 90, Ha ha. I cant see it personally, although I'd love to.

That is silly. At the same time it is fans cushioning themselves for a loss and when things may go better than expected everyone can be happy. I’m expecting the Bulldogs to perform better than in recent weeks because of the Ciraldo and former players factor Particularly if Kikau plays. Not that I think he will influence the outcome just I think they may be up for a better overall performance.

I tend to think the Bulldogs will give there all, and maybe our winning margin may be less than some may expect. The Bulldogs at the 28.5 margin may not be a bad bet.

In the past few years, every time we've come up against a side really struggling like the Dogs have been we've been workmanlike, putting 40 odd on them, conceding next to nothing and barely breaking a sweat. If I was a betting man that's what I'd go with.

Which means we will probably play like crap and win with a last gasp field goal :)

It will influence the margin.
Does it favour us or them. I’m not sure.

Im hopeful of a really strong performance on Sunday, what the winning margin may be is inconsequential as long as our performance is really solid.

I’ll be happy with the two points if that how it plays out.

Im confident we will perform well on Sunday.

I think when we talk about making a statement this weekend will be the start.

Three home games, the Storm will be a challenge no doubt, but I am confident we are going to see us rise to the occAsian.

They lost 91 to 6 to St George in May 1935 and lost to Easts 87 to 7 the following week. Conceded 38 tries in 2 games.
