Take Aways:

Cleary - pure maestro. Pulled Broncos apart and he wasn’t even at his best.

Forwards - all stood up and did a shift. Great leadership from Leota, who stood up and was the alpha dog.

Tago - great game again although his non pass to put Turuva over for a certain try was the exact moment momentum stopped for Panthers.

Back 3 - great efforts and carries. Got through a mountain of work again.

Lapses - there was a 10 minute lapse after Tago dropped ball. Disappointing and hopefully they rectify this. Clearly put the cue in the rack.

Kenny - another sublime game. He is crucial to this Panthers side.

May - developing into one of the games best centers at a rapid rate.

Yeo - got through so much work. What a player!

Defence - outside that 10 minute lapse it looked solid. But plenty to work on as well.

It was a solid 65 min performance. Not complete and plenty to work on for next week.

The offloading was my biggest takeaway from the first 50mins. We have never played like that! Great coaching

Good performance.

Similar to the 2022 GF with all intensity lost after a near miss try after the game is won.

Still most vulnerable on the edges at long range.

Lindsay Smith, take a bow young man. I thought he was fantastic in the middle.

Every time Eiso had a touch my husband and I yelled “Plod!” It would have been a fun drinking game. Damn work tomorrow

Very enjoyable game as a panthers fan.
Not a bad player on the park for us.

If I have any criticism it was the rotation of the bench. A few players really got pushed.
Smith and leota played almost the entire first half.

It was a physical contest and both played great, it just felt a bit unnecessary.

Martin needed more bench time.
Putting Garner in the centres instead of Laurie was also just odd.

It all worked out but It looked to me like we placed unnecessary fatigue on the team, probably reflected a bit in the back end of the game.

Very comfortable win. A bit too comfortable at the end, felt like we clocked off a bit for the last 30, in defense especially. Would have liked to really go on with it, but can't complain in truth.

We were particularly clinical in the red zone which was pleasing. They had no answer to our right side, albeit with a makeshift edge. Great to see us unlocking teams on their own line.

I also thought Edwards looked a tier below his best. Obviously a monster in the meter department with some big carries, but he also looked tentative at times and made a couple of errors that thankfully didn't cost us in any real sense. The fact he looks like a lovechild of Luke Walsh and Adrian Purtell isn't helping my assessment of him.

We are almost unbeatable when we move the ball
After the first game I was concerned we were getting to stuck in the grind and handing the ball over to easy.
It’s obvious now we are expanding our attack with a lot more early width and offloads, looks great.

If Ivan doesn't think Laurie can fill in at centre then he shouldn't pick him really

To be fair we had played sides with makeshift backlines, Need a bigger sample size but targeting a weakness is smart play
