I wasn’t aware Matterson could play centre. If he can then it seems like a far better option to move him there rather than disrupt the halves.
I think BA is a good man and a good father. Hard exterior but we all know that inside he's as soft as a mars bar left on your dashboard in summer. I just doubt he can be rational about selections, and the assistants don't seem to be helping.

By that logic if a player has a shit game in a grand final and the game is decided by a completely unrelated incident then if said unrelated incident (eg a bomb) leads to a try then said player isn’t a liability but if it doesn’t then they are. That doesn’t seem like very sound logic to me.

When Will Smith overplayed his hand and stifled our attack as is his wont in season's past, most of us, if not all of us, were quick to crucify him and point out his frailties. Jake Arthur is being picked to play first grade and regardless of who his Dad is or how old he is, he should also be judged by his output. If he's not up to it, the coach needs to do something about it. He simply should not be put on the field to play in the halves again while our starting 6 and 7 are fit. If he is unable to fill in and plug a gap in any other position, then he should not be in the 17, simple.
