Jake has lots of potential and im ok for him to come on IF selected and needed but to slot in and not overplay his hand. Today he came on and started taking over. At one stage Mahoney pushed him aside and told him where to go and stand.
Moses should not be playing 2nd fiddle to him.
Cartwright for mine is a better option and provides better balance as he can play in the fwds and as a 6 or centre worst case scenario.
Jake plays 6 or 7 but too much disruption to the side...Dylan Brown literally went missing...
Drown did f**k all before he moved to centre. Did well on the kick chase for Russell's try (which he could've done from any position) but otherwise all the try assists on our left were from Moses, Gutherson and Lane.

Matterson can fill in at centre if need be. He did it numerous times during the Roosters premiership run. The last thing you want to do is reshuffle your spine. Unless you desperately want your son on the field.
Teams reshuffle their spine every time they bring on an interchange hooker, or bring Nico Hynes off the bench. It's not like they don't train for it.

We couldn’t score a try the second half with over 60% of the ball, the first half we looked as smooth AF. We looked disjointed and clunky as f**k once Jakey boy came on.
They went into their shells after they kept dropping the ball and the Titans scored.

So you'd be happy enough to start next week with the same backline we finished today's game with? If anything, it sounds like Drown would be lucky to keep his spot in 1st grade from the way you've described his output today....

By that logic if a player has a shit game in a grand final and the game is decided by a completely unrelated incident then if said unrelated incident (eg a bomb) leads to a try then said player isn’t a liability but if it doesn’t then they are. That doesn’t seem like very sound logic to me.
Doesn't sound like a very likely edge case either. What if he sits on the bench and only comes on with five minutes to go and his team up by 20? Another dumb f**king question. Use some common sense.

Thanks for supporting my argument. I knew you’d see it my way after I clarified it for you.

Nope. Just that nepotism shouldn’t be happening in a professional sporting club at the top level.
Then level it at BA?
When Will Smith overplayed his hand and stifled our attack as is his wont in season's past, most of us, if not all of us, were quick to crucify him and point out his frailties. Jake Arthur is being picked to play first grade and regardless of who his Dad is or how old he is, he should also be judged by his output. If he's not up to it, the coach needs to do something about it. He simply should not be put on the field to play in the halves again while our starting 6 and 7 are fit. If he is unable to fill in and plug a gap in any other position, then he should not be in the 17, simple.
Jrthur has played 8 games so no his output isn’t judged the same as the guy whose played 10 times as many.
I don’t think he’s ready yet either but I really don’t understand the vitriol when he didn’t do much wrong other than a shit kick and maybe a disrupted defence line that would’ve happened regardless who we swapped Russell with.

The kick wasn’t high enough. The commentators even said as much.
If the chase was better it would've been. The commentators have to say something. The kick could've also been shorter and no higher and also had a lazy chase. There's plenty of variables. But if you're looking at one kick to put shit on a merkin who just helped close out a win it shows he wasn't bad.
