You keep banging on about assistant coaches, have you ever thought BA is happy with the ones he has? They would only be helping BA carry out his game plans.
Surely Kidwell is only there to stack his water bottles????

Mitch gets / misses the goal and the forum flips on it’s head.

It’s good to vent. Sack the coach and his all his staff and the half and the rookie Haze and that passenger Lane. Dylan (who last week was the guy we missed so badly whilst suspended) needs to spend time in reserve grade !

Ive been saying this all along !

Well we've played the other seven top eight sides once, while they have played all except St George, but have played Manly and Cronulla twice. Assuming the top eight doesn't change (it might only be the top eight because all these sides have only had to play us once) then Penrith have had a better draw, but not by much.
I think we can exclude the Sharks and the Dragons from any analysis if your basing it on decent teams.

Their no better than most of the teams outside the Top 8.

However, you're likely to score more tries against weaker opponents anyway. I see we've played each of the bottom 3 twice. Panthers only once.

Why are we second tier though???? I think we have enough talent to challenge the top sides our pack should keep us in most games. Our boring predictable style of football is what kills us the most. Watching us try and put on a backline play is like watching old people f**k but only more gross.

We aint second tier because of last night, being in the position to win the game on the bell with that kick tells you we can run with the first tier. If you need more look to that we did beat the Storm. Sure they were down on troops, but not as much as they have been since and they've been blowing other merkins off the park.

We are second tier because of the performances we put in against the Bunnies, Manly and Dragons, who are second tier ( well, maybe not the Dragons ) If we were first tier, we win one or two of those, and it'd show on the ladder.

I think he’s going to get named as the NSW half-back, he has the bye, his next game is an Origin match after missing a shot after the siren,” Cronk told Fox League.

Cronk added: “I’m giving Moses a couple of ticks for his performance tonight.
“It was a dour game, it was defence-dominated and it’s really hard to put your fingerprints and start throwing cut-out balls and set up tries in conditions like this.
“But what he did do is he made his tackles and he kicked really well.
“The thing that he’s going to have to bounce back from (the missed penalty goal).
“That’s deflating, the game on the line, you’re the only one, you live for it, you breathe for it, you dream about it as a kid, and he missed it to the left.
“He’s got to bounce back from that.”
Senior Blues adviser Greg Alexander gave little away regarding Moses’ selection chances but was impressed with the Parramatta playmaker’s Origin audition.
“I thought his game was strong, I thought he kicked well, he put up the two kicks that led to the Parramatta tries,” Alexander told Fox League.
“I thought his long kicking game to give the Eels field position was strong.”

Yet we have still scored the same amount of tries as the great attacking panthers…..……..

A lot of those tries are coming off moses’ boot. We’re very predictable, you can read into stats how you like to suit your argument. We won’t trouble the top sides at full strength. The Nathan brown hit ups aren’t effective. Drown needs to be a little creative. The bash and barge game will only get you so far.

do you honestly think we have the game plan in place to beat the top teams come September?

Not a bad game for us tbh, close, tough and defensive orientated against a top 2 side. Good to have considering a bye next week

Wonder if we under estimated Tyrone Mays try, if it was Cleary we eye him like a hawk. Play the man not the reputation.

Think if we had Reed, they had Cleary, could have been a different result IMO

We went fine. Need to offload and spread ball a little more.
See what happens in finals. If we don't fire a shot then shake the squad up a little.

Penrith = brilliant attacking team, full of energy, best halves in the game.

Parra = awful attacking team, slow, useless, both halves should be dropped

Yet surprisingly both teams have scored 79 tries this year

Korisau was the difference. He kept getting those late set restarts.
I'd have to watch game again. We seemed to get more luck in first half while they did in 2nd.

Perhaps one team playing each of the bottom 3 teams twice and the other team only once each has contributed to that anomoly at this stage of the season.

Over 30% of our tries off kicks, 2 more last night. Some of our sets last night it was like we were rushing through the set to just get to the kick.

But we got close so we should just suck it up and be happy. Being the best of the worst is really exciting!!

The thing is. Moses and Gutherson get all the good ball when we have pushed the defense back or a semi break.
Dylan gets given the shit ball when defense is set. His options are run, pass to someone in less space or kick. Unsure what else can do if the defense is set.
All our structured set plays are using Moses and The King.

So it is hard to blame Dylan. But perhaps the game plan. Plus Guthersons bal playing skills. Look at other 5/8s who have a dominant halfback and ball playing fullback.

Nathan is the best half in comp. He may of kicked us out of the game field possesion wise.
Sad thing is when play in rnd 25 high chance neither team has anything to play for bar injuries.
And come finals I think we finish 5th. Unsure if we get to see them in finals.

Vintage Moses
Has spent his entire career beating up on nuff nuff teams, and has finally convinced nuff nuff fans that he's good enough for Origin
And he still manages to choke

Despite this, the fans of the team he plays for (who share the exact same flat track bully qualities as Moses) will defend him - then wonder years from now Y dO wE nEvEr BeAt Da GoOd TeAmS!!??
