I think he’s going to get named as the NSW half-back, he has the bye, his next game is an Origin match after missing a shot after the siren,” Cronk told Fox League.
Cronk added: “I’m giving Moses a couple of ticks for his performance tonight.
“It was a dour game, it was defence-dominated and it’s really hard to put your fingerprints and start throwing cut-out balls and set up tries in conditions like this.
“But what he did do is he made his tackles and he kicked really well.
“The thing that he’s going to have to bounce back from (the missed penalty goal).
“That’s deflating, the game on the line, you’re the only one, you live for it, you breathe for it, you dream about it as a kid, and he missed it to the left.
“He’s got to bounce back from that.”
Senior Blues adviser Greg Alexander gave little away regarding Moses’ selection chances but was impressed with the Parramatta playmaker’s Origin audition.
“I thought his game was strong, I thought he kicked well, he put up the two kicks that led to the Parramatta tries,” Alexander told Fox League.
“I thought his long kicking game to give the Eels field position was strong.”
