Has spent his entire career beating up on nuff nuff teams, and has finally convinced nuff nuff fans that he's good enough for Origin
And he still manages to choke

Despite this, the fans of the team he plays for (who share the exact same flat track bully qualities as Moses) will defend him - then wonder years from now Y dO wE nEvEr BeAt Da GoOd TeAmS!!??

He isn't the best halfback in comp.
He isn't the worse.
I'd say better then average though.

A lot of those tries are coming off moses’ boot. We’re very predictable, you can read into stats how you like to suit your argument. We won’t trouble the top sides at full strength. The Nathan brown hit ups aren’t effective. Drown needs to be a little creative. The bash and barge game will only get you so far.

do you honestly think we have the game plan in place to beat the top teams come September?
We have apparently scored considerably more tries off kicks than the rest of the comp. Our attack outside of kicking is abysmal

Korisau was the difference. He kept getting those late set restarts.
I'd have to watch game again. We seemed to get more luck in first half while they did in 2nd.
I agree. Api made those clutch plays around the ruck.

I think we could have done better with our wingers getting us out of trouble.

Stats wise we contained them well. Considering Penrith had 51% possession but ran 1834m vs 1541m, post contact was 648m vs 493m.

Eels had 39 tackle breaks vs 30 for pennies, so we were more dynamic with ball in hand.

I thought the ruck was ordinary and the ref allowed Pennys to slow down the “held” call by standing the ball carrier up and 3 guys moving him sideways or back. There was always a 3rd man in lifting a leg to stop a quick play the ball or if he was on the ground, the 3rd man would just flop and apply his weight to the tackle. A few weeks ago none of that was tolerated.

I’m devastated for Moses. He kicks that goal and we are sitting very pretty in the puzzle.

A clutch moment would do wonders for his detractors and self belief. His missed conversion in last years finals series against the Rabbitohs was a major turning point in that game.

This said, he cops a heap of misdirected criticism. If anything, Gutho has struggled in big moments.

I think Freddy gives him a start next week nonetheless and he will do well.

I agree, but we still won't beat ouths. They've put 38 or more on us 4 of the last 6 times we've played them.
Think our D has improved greatly since those changes were made. We had Jake in team at time and his D is poor which contributed to our loss.

Good D last nite but Gutho was poor imo, made pass for Panthers intercept try and forward pass that lead to field goal. Big mistake from BA to start Niukore & RCG imo, we run too one out which Penrith D eat up all nite. We had no variety but once Paulo came on and started offloading our attack flowed much better.

Btw Dunster is a lot better in D than Ferguson, doubt he'll get back in to team except for injury replacement. Dunster turns quickly and defuses kicks whereas Fergo is still turning QE2 style.

Cleary is just another J.Robson.
My criticism of Cleary was not unwarranted. He was over hyped early whilst not producing. He was selected for origin prematurely and I wasn’t Robinson Crusoe there.

Now he has grown as a player and looks a superstar behind the Panthers and NSW packs. Good in him.

Who played too many minutes? Yeo played 70, Kikau and Capewell both played 64. Koroisau played as many minutes as Lussick (despite running the ball twice as much).
Sigh, ....

Panthers weren't the ones out on their feet.

When.will you realise that it's not always about statistics

Our edge defence held up pretty well last night. The issue we face is shoring up the defence is costing us yardage in attack especially with dunster poor kid tried but was just getting manhandled. I reckon we need another 2 outside backs next year.

Penrith are 12 point better team with cleary. I reckon if nathan plays its probably 24-12 with the ball penrith had in last 25 mins our defense did well to really keep them to a field goal.

Our attack inside the 20m is so slow and predictable it's not going to trouble the top sides unfortunately.

Marata hasn't been effective at prop since moved from centres. Done nothing that impressive yet

It’s not white anting if I’ve been openly critical in a public forum.
Don't worry about him mate, talking about hilarious comments.

Having an opinion on someone not being good enough is hardly white anting anyone, having an opinion on an internet forum is what this place is all about.

BA is continually white anting himself while he refuses to improve his support staff.
