Once we arrive we need to head to Cronulla Cemetery and find Jack Gibson's corpse. Polish him up a bit and I reckon he'd be good to go for 2021.

cowboys sacked their coach after 7 years despite him winning a Comp, making a GF and absolutely getting robbed in several semis.

yet we’re happy to retain this muppet. Every coach was a rookie once, we need fresh ideas

No idea. However, Parra is a confidence team...always has been. A thumping like that I reckon does more damage to a team like ours (dare I say, a soft underbelly - the Duke was spot on) than others.

You are the voice of reason, and I admire that about you - but I don't think that we will come back.

For the last 2 months, we haven't really shown any improvement, nor any genuine ability; yes, we have won more than we lost in the last 2 months, but there are games where we should have won more comfortably.

The Sharks game, and the Storm game, come to mind - we had ample opportunity to score more points in each match, but we were content to play stupid football, and turn the ball over.

Stricter coaches would probably blow up at that sort of ineptitude; it's rare to see the Storm, Roosters, Raiders, etc. turn in back-to-back weak performances.

The Eels have gone through an 8-week period of seriously dreadful football.

They say that winning cures all, but I believe the evidence to the contrary lies in tonight's match - we were blown off the park by a talented team, which - on paper, at least - is not as talented as the Eels squad.

And I cannot fathom why Arthur didn't blast the side after the first 15 or 20 minutes - we were genuinely in comfort, running it up the guts, and making metres at will, in the first 15 minutes.

After that, we started pushing poor passes, and trying to be overly-aggressive in defence (leaving gaping holes in our line), and Souths retained their composure, and put us to the sword.

I don't believe there is any evidence to support the notion that Arthur can get us firing just before the Finals.

Surely the coach needs to start focusing on attack .

All the skill in this group has been nullified. They have just gone backwards and its the coaching I believe.

Yep, that was similar to one of those Storm type flogging we get every year. While we still have those in us nothing much will change.
