This is the point, right? Similarly, I’ve just come to basically not give a shit this season. Which feels much more deflating than even being angry at their shitness.

Normally i'd be kicking the dog (if I had one), but now I'm over it the next day. I don't even get upset too much by a loss as I see it unfolding during the game. Maybe that's because I don't have to work out the plot as I watch the show to see how it's going to work out in the end. Tomorrow, I might go to the beach if the weather is kinder to me than the Eels performance.

Before this round we had the 11th best defensive record.

They were making ground and scoring tries tonight when it was an equal amount of possession too.

Well tonight is just one game. Meaningless in the context of a whole season. But the drop off in our defence over 18 rounds is definitely a concern. I assume it’s related to our improved attack.

Queen Gutho and Slalom Moses don't get on with Mahoney it's as plain as the nose on your face. Mahoney must of got sick of being pushed out of the way by Hogthurson and was happy to leave.

Well really your line is only as fast as the slowest middle defender. Look at the Haas try early on. Nobody was in a hurry to get their body in front. They were too busy trying to take a breather for the next tackle.

That try had nothing to do with line speed. It was more 2nd phase play ... the line speed we are missing is a merkin or 2 coming up and bustling that one pass hitup ... it aint happening much and we end up on the back foot. It was once one of our strengths

There are so many times I see 2 players struggling to bring down a player and there 1 or 2 other guys standing around and not helping

Gutherson to BA is similar to what Darius was to Bennett. Get rid of Gutho and BA.
