I’m watching the replay now. The storm are a bunch of cats. The way papahauzen went down, from nothing, he should of been sent for a HIA.
Clearly its coached into them.
Papenhuysen, brandon Smith, munster and Tom Eisenuth all played for penalties...there was nothing in all of them. I thought Nathan Brown was unlucky to be penalised for the hit on Eisenuth. That guy as well Jesse Bromwich have a picnic on players everytime they make a tackle...its disgraceful how long they hold on for....
Also glad Perenara got the punt from our game.
Whist not a fan of Sutton as he could've given us plenty more 6 agains, hopefully we don't see a double act of Atkins and Perenara together again for a while either....

I was hoping Ba unloaded in the presser. That Harry grant makes cam smith look an angel. His work in the ruck is a disgrace on the game. They basically should of been penalized out of the game last night.

Maybe just maybe this club might have finally rid them of those storm demons. Still probably have to beat them in a final. But beating them full strength in a year twice is no mean feat.

We have stood up to them twice this year and beaten them at their own game in both wet and dry conditions
I agree but like us they weren’t at completely full strength. From their top 17 they were without NAS, Finucane and Jennings.

One thing I did wasn't to say about the gameplan tonight, why kick bombs to the fox.

We should've bombed the other guy

Bombing remus was fine as he's a centre but when the fox was on, we should've bombed and pressured the new guy

It's a pretty common tactic nowadays to bomb the more dangerous winger, with the plan being to smash them on taking the ball. Then they aren't available for the next play, and the line gets a better opportunity to set.

It's worth noting he didn't make it through the game, so that's a win for that tactic. He didn't pose much of a threat sitting on the bench iced up.

Lane did not return after HIA, so this year it usually means that he misses a week. Agree that this week is all about giving the squad game time, that’s what BA said as he was rising to walk out of the presser.

Will Smith at FB and Arthur at half ? Oldfield is a no from me. Isn’t Sam Loizou also in the bubble ?

The deadshit tigers fans are real quiet tonight 🤣
Rhyno ?
It must be. In the Parra vs Storm thread, instead of savouring a great win, he puts shit on the WT fans.
I miss you rhyno.
You disappear off the face of the earth for a couple of months, now you are coming back to life within an hour of a Parra win !
Don't change rhyno.

Yeah, that's true for sure.

I would say the difference is whether you are putting up the bomb hoping for an error to score, or if you're primary objective is to give the ball back to the opposition under your terms rather than theirs.

I think our attacking bombs ( the ones we competed for the ball on ) were all closer to the posts last night, whereas our defensive ones ( the ones where we lined up the receiver ) were to the corners.
