I noted early last night Barlow was rarely sighted. No hit ups and no tackles. He appeared to be on the right edge. As soon as he started to get involved, he was replaced then back again shortly after. What did it actually achieve replacing a player who had done little work.
You're pretty wise for an old man Craigy!
We have to save him for his boxing match

Wouldn't surprise if the pillow tries to sit out our final game. Maka looks to have had a blinder in reggies going by the stats, and would probably have more of a go in firsts at this stage of the season anyway.

Yea but the OP talked about how our attack is also not good enough. Have to include the whole season. We can’t just take out the last couple weeks, otherwise take out the weeks where we scored 40.

Our attack is middle of the road and getting worse, while our defence is cellar dwelling and also getting worse.

It's not that I wanna discount the latest of our poor performances, the point there is to offer perspective.

Three weeks ago our tries / game was higher, it would've been top four, so this conversation at that point in time would've been quite different. Why was our attack good then, but average now?

The difference now is marginal, what isn't marginal is the difference in defence.

On that same link, tries conceded we're 7 highest ( higher being worse ) at 4.2 / game, but the difference to 4th lowest, the storm ( at 3.2 ) is a try per game. That's a fairly meaningful difference.

I noted last night that when he took a run he wasn't even running onto the ball he gets the ball flat footed. He is past it.

Should give betham misa 15mins off the bench. The club seems keen on promoting kids atm.

Since origin we’ve only averaged 15 points a game. Our attack has certainly become a problem to go along with our even bigger problem, which is our defence.
At least Mitch got that origin experience though that was going to make him a better player.

Our attack has been dreadful all year. This is why you never look at stat's and why pou is an absolute fool living with his eyes closed.

I think everyone could see that most of our tries have come from playing shit teams and up against good teams it's only late in the game when we start playing parraball, trying to come from behind and the opposition have taken their foot off the pedal.

Our attack is so f**king predictable it f**king annoys me. Good opposition has worked it out and nullified it. Never have we looked dominant in attack against a top side. Yeah we might have scored tries, but never did we look DOMINANT.

Arsey tries like gutho reaching out close to the line from dummy half or hail mary kicks on the 5th, or parraball headless chook offloading is nothing to be excited about. I actually groan when we score tries like that.

Sounds like a guy with a sternum or rib cartilage injury playing needled.

Totally agree and what i have been harping on about for ages but My point is, back a few weeks ago, probably after origin, we were crap like today and we shouldve just played free flowing footy as compared to what we had actually dished up
