well I'm a merkin and it is

apart from Blake smashing Joe Dirt most of our points come from Moses kicks, and Stone will never score two more arsey tries like that if he played till he was 50

a couple of weeks in a row now where we have had repeat sets on their line and all we try to do is barge over, no set plays, no variation

without Moses' boot, I just can't see where our points are coming from

we obviously focused on our defense this week and it was a huge improvement over the first 2 rounds so that's a positive, but we have to do much more in attack in my humble opinion if we want to be top 4 team again

moses is obviously injured and didn’t do much apart from kick and distribute the ball. Dly was given more of an attacking role, and boy he didn’t disappoint. We need two attacking halves in we’re to do well in September.

Do non playing players usually catch a different flight home? Both Cartwright and Emu Greg were on my 10am flight but no one else from the eels were on it.
Non playing players go home on the loser flight.

I thought after the ultimate turd that is Scam Smith retired the refereeing would be just a little more impartial, boy was I wrong.

Ashderply Klein did his best to get the Scum home yesterday, the shit they still get away with in the ruck is absolute BS.

Our PTB was on average 0.75 seconds slower than theirs, yet ruck penalties were 2 against the Storm, and 3 against us.

Go figure.

The rest all stayed on to have secret appointments to discuss their playing futures with Bellamy...?

The main difference is that Munster's try assist was deliberate. He showed great vision to see the opportunity. He doesn't just have speed and power, and the technical skill to throw the last pass in a shift play, but he can recognise opportunities and consistently make the right decision. He is very creative. Also has some utility value, as proven by his record at fullback.
Gutho was involved in the tackle before then sprinted across to try to cover that kick. Magnificent effort. If they all had that determination we would have won by a cricket score. Just like the final Stone try. He was the only one moving forward. Maybe if we used our bench better a few more might have had gas left in the tank.

Dont think it was gas, it was attitude ... Moses, BA and Gutho all wrapped Stone after the game saying its how he trains, never stops, does the extras ... a bit like hindmarsh built his game on never giving up on a play

Sounds like your not giving the opposition enough credit and instead bagging your own team. Sounds like looser talk if ask me.
The Storm lost so they don't deserve any credit. How can they have that much ball against our shit defence and only score four tries ffs

The fact there was plenty of backs not chasing suggests fatigue wasn't the issue. There's just a general lack of intensity, as for most teams in round three. The Storm and Roosters are both going through it. Why not us too?

Happy Stone got redemption after last week. His try to win the game shows what is needed to win the comp. Never give up.

What was disappointing was he was the only Eel chasing the kick.

Also, I still can't believe that we didn't attempt a field goal when up by 6 with 5 minutes remaining. Was is a lack of leadership, lack of game awareness or just dumb play from Mahoney?

We are now paying $9, which is fourth in the betting. Panthers, Storm, Roosters ahead of us, which seems realistic.
