I’m annoyed but this bad loss as well but I disagree with anyone who says starting with Paulo and Matterson was a poor coaching decision. There’s nothing wrong with starting with your best players and trying to get the ascendancy early. That’s not the reason why we lost.
Ivan Cleary deserves a lot of credit for having his son missing and not have his team miss a beat. Obviously we don’t have the structures to overcome the loss of our halfback as effectively.

I blame it on our club thinking every player is a utility. Not just swapping in a halfback for Moses...

From Last week all we had to do was bring Sanders in leave Brown at 5/8 Blaize at centre Harper on the wing.

Leave Sivo to come back through CUP.

Hasnt our superstar coach had 11 years to set up systems so if anyone is missing they can be easily replaced.

Same as last year when Gutho went off we let in 15 tries in 120 mins when he was off the field. That was across 4 different games thats not a coincidence imo.

Clearly no one had been trained at the FB position to cover Gutho for any little stint he would spend on the sideline. 15 tries in 120 mins is a try every 8 mins ffs
