Hindy was that important to the side, defensively we absolutely panicked. Would we had won who knows but I doubt we totally shit the bed like we did if he was there.

And Moi Moi back then was a super sub off the bench when he came on the tempo of the game totally changed he might of made a difference if the game was tight. I do know after 5 mins i said to the old man this game is over these merkins have brought their own supply of Laxatives.
My Dad was worried on the morning of that game after the tigers ambushed the dragons the night before.

He just had this bad feeling we would f. It up that day and we did.

They’re 30 man squads! It doesn’t matter if Penrith had a like for like positional replacement. Penrith were a better squad with Burton. Dispute that, go on. They simply couldn’t afford him. It’s not like they went “well we already have Luai and this Tago might be good, so let’s tell Burton to f**k off.” If he said he’d take the same salary he was last year, you think he’d have still left?

Anyway you bore me so please just stop talking.

Mate, revisionist history much?

Burton signed with the Dogs on reportedly $450K-$500K, prior to when Penrith decided to give him a shot at centre. Remember he is a half. So he was being blocked from progressing to his preferred position and if he makes it potentially much more lucrative for his bank balance. No club could hold on to him in those circumstances and everyone knew it at the time and it was a matter of who would sign him.

After he signed with the Dogs, the Panthers needed a centre and threw him in there and he surprised everyone with how well he adapted, but he is a half and playmaker and those sorts of skills are wasted out in the centres and no one in their right mind would put him there unless they had better options like the Panthers did/do. Notice he isn't playing in the centres at the Dogs is he?

As for the Panthers paying him the same as what the Dogs are paying him, sure they would have, if they didn't have Luai. But he was behind Luai so why the fu*k would they? This scenario is a perfect case of better opportunities elsewhere. Pretty bloody obvious to most but the usual suspects, and yes and that includes you @Gary Gutful who does his head in when others make "dogshit analysis, refusual to understand that most problems are multi-variate and willingness to simplistically scapegoat merkins that causes me to comment and offer an alternative view." Hahaha...don't make me laugh. Yes I noticed you liked 84 Baby's pathetic one dimensional post. Yeah real deep understanding by all you lot, right? You guys can't even understand the simple idea that a young person will always seek out better opportunities and advancement when their current employer can't offer them that equal career opportunity and or advancement ffs!

Anyway, of course the Panthers 30 man squad was better with him in it, but he was never going to stay unless the Panthers could guarantee him a half starting position and we all already know the answer to that don't we? So he moved on. However if he were a genuine centre ONLY, then I am sure the Panthers would of kept him and he would still be at the club and maybe Tago's NRL progression would still be blocked and he might start to feel it might be better for his progression and development to move on somewhere else as well. Or one of the players currently playing on the wing might have to give way for Tago. The point though is, the Panthers are a club with an embarrassment of riches junior wise. At the moment they are like shark teeth. When they lose one, another equally as good moves up and takes its place.

Can you claim the same about Parramatta? Go on, I like to see you try mofo. Make my day!

Burton will ditch Penrith to link with the Bulldogs and coach Trent Barrett on a deal worth around $450,000 next year and $500,000 in 2023.

Anyway I'm done with you. You're dull, tedious and a soporific bore. You can go away now please.

I feel like at anytime a heap of good ones will pop up. I remember not so long ago NSW had no centres.
Now Kotoni,Penisini,Tago,Critchton,Lomax popped up out of nowhere.

There isn't much around now. Korisau, Cook are ageing. But still great. B.Smith,H.Grant are very good. Mahoneys good.Brailey also is a gun.

But I do wonder all these good hookers are in good sides. Is it the hookers making them great or the sides making them look better? Prob worth taking note of the sides performance while the 9 is missing.

Hindy, remember Grant was at the Tigers and was braining it. So in his case at least, we know it's his talent.

You are arguing for 84’s position and against what Hindy was suggesting. I predict some serious words will be exchanged during tonight’s ‘pillow talk’.

I think this game established Mitchell Moses as an elite halfback. He is definitely now on the podium with Cleary and DCE.

Without doubt he has the best long range kicking game I’ve seen and his defence has improved out of sight. Getting rid of that peanut, Norman was a master stroke and allowed him to flourish.
Which means we need to be prepared to up his next contract to $1.2m.

Hindy is going to be pissed off at your betrayal.

Penrith lost Burton cause they had to chose between him and Luai and who compliments Cleary better.
Burton's strength is he has a big boot and a nice step. With Nathan's kicking games superior so Burton's isn't needed. Luai in general has a better run game then Burton also. And at a time where they are in the premiership window they went with the more finished product. Makes sense to me.

How so? This fits right in with what I also said. So stick it Guts you blinkered trouble making Twat-Waffle.

Jesus f**ken Christ… comprehension is usually taught in primary school. Did you need me to enrol you or do you think you could organise it yourself?
