Probably gets just over 40 minutes. He and Hands will be on at the same time during the game
They can both hang around dummy half, making the defence second guess about which one will pick up the ball. Like the old St George mousetrap play under David Waite. It's very exciting.

Or Hands' utility value will come in handy as he plays somewhere else on the field.

Missing the top 8 two years in a row, in his 10th plus year with the club?

I agree, the club shouldn’t make any hasty decisions. I reckon Brad needs at least 14-15 seasons to really show what he can do.
Wouldnt the hasty decision be to sack him before his contract ends?
He is currently only contracted to be here for 2024 and 2025 and personally, I don't think he will be extended beyond 2025 (short of a GF victory).

And replace him with who? That’s the issue.
An Assistant Coach (Barrett) while we recruit and do interviews for 2026 - which we should be doing anyway, because BA should not be extended yet again, unless he gets us to a Grand Final (for a grand tally of two during the 12 or whatever years).

So is not missing the 8 two years in a row one of his KPI's?
Cleary missed the finals eight times in his first 13 seasons. Looks like it is meaningless for a coach's employability. Also says nothing about his ability to win premierships.

It should be as part of his last extension. And if it is indeed a KPI, then he will be sacked.

But even if there aren't any KPIs, he should be sacked for that feat anyway - given BA's had the running of the club for his 12 plus year tenure and missing the 8 in consecutive years means it's demonstrably a case of diminishing returns for the club.

Who gives a f**k about Cleary, always deflecting for the bald fraud.

The fact is if an 11 year spoon winning coach misses the finals two years in a row it should be just a formality that he has to hit the bricks. Not at Parra we’ll probably extend him for stability’s sake. He did get an extension after the biggest ever flogging in the clubs history.

No coach is going to accept a sackable KPI being MUST NOT miss the semi finals more than once. There are too many things out of the control of the coach, such as referees, player injuries, player suspensions, and so on.

It would be like giving a train driver MUST NOT run late more than twice or you're sacked KPI.
